Piece together a ballet scene, then press the notes to hear it come to life.

The Story Orchestra: The Nutcracker Musical Puzzle brings Tchaikovsky’s Christmas ballet to the puzzle table. Build the illustrated scene, then press the musical notes in the completed picture to hear orchestral excerpts from The Nutcracker. Jessica Courtney-Tickle’s artwork gives you plenty to discover as the pieces come together.

An accompanying poster offers more to explore. Turn it over to read about the story’s happy ending, the composer and the ways the music tells the story. It is a musical jigsaw to enjoy together, with listening woven into the activity.

- Music at your fingertips: press the sound buttons in the completed scene to hear 10-second orchestral clips.
- More to discover: includes a poster with story and composer information.
- Before first use: remove the white tab from the back of the puzzle frame.
- Press firmly: sound buttons need a firm push in the exact position, so younger children may need help.

A thoughtful choice for musical puzzles, creative gift ideas and Christmas gifts for children who love ballet, stories or classical music.
